The farm was born in 2012 from a pilot project of “redevelopment and environmental sustainability”.
The owner and his wife felt the need to temporarily abandon the architectural branch where they came from to get back in touch with earth and take care of it. They planted and raised the first 3650 plants (which nowadays are more than 5000), to recreate with respect and passion a new resilient habitat capable of intertwining innovation and research, to answer to the challenge of climatic changes and the urge of healthier products and new lifestyles.

To requalify the environment means to allow a sustainable development, to make the organic agricultural-productive function live harmonically together with the genuinity of the locations, art, design, architecture and culture.

“The relationship between agriculture and environment must be the object of new studies, new projects, a new approach and a sustainable development model model based on interdisciplinarity, as an instrument of research and innovation.” This is the “mother” thought that encouraged this family to start this splendid adventure.

In 2015 the farm wins a cash prize by the Venice Chamber of Commerce during the EXPO competiton, for its sustainability and habitat requalification project. Through this, it has been given rise to the creation of a first wooden artifact, inert and with zero emissions, which symbolizes, inside of the project itself and its structure, the company spirit.
In the same year, the environmental redevelopment and sustainability pilot project has been pointed out in the “Places and Stories” route for “Venice to Expo”.

“The real challenge has been to try to realize a project, in an area like the one in the immediate surroundings of Venice, dedicated almost exclusively to intensive traditional cultivations, not profitable anymore for small farming entrepreneurs. These mono-coltural ways of cultivation brought to the degeneration of the environment (with a constant use of pesticides and fertilizers), loss of biodiversity and exploitation of the natural water resources, ground erosion and loss of “true” social fabric that has been at the foundation of agri-culture for centuries. These cultivation methods have demonstrated their failure also from the economical side, not guaranteeing anymore enough marginality to the susteinance of small farming entrepreneurs. This has determined in the last 30 years a gradual desertion of “direct” cultivation of acreages, and a subsequent decay of the land plots, agro-environmental and hydraulic decay, and crumbling of the social fabric that marked the culture of our area, preserving the human, aid, knowledge and security aspects in the past.”
